// custom software

Software built around how you actually work.

You've been told to bend your process until it fits the software. I build the other way around — around the work your team already knows, the information you actually need, and the few steps that make the business run.

// the day-to-day

Sound familiar?

  • We type the same customer and job information into more than one system.
  • The software makes sense to its vendor, but not to the people doing our work.
  • The number I need is buried in exports, tabs, and somebody else's spreadsheet.
  • Every new job creates another chain of texts asking what happens next.

// the build

What I actually build.

  • A custom CRM

    Leads, customers, jobs, and follow-up in one place shaped around your actual sales path.

  • Scheduling and dispatch

    The office and field can see what is booked, who owns it, and what changed.

  • Quoting and invoicing

    The job moves from price to approval to payment without retyping the same details.

  • A useful dashboard

    The few numbers you run the business by are waiting when you open it.

  • Systems that talk

    I connect the tools worth keeping so the same information doesn't get entered twice.

  • Your data, yours to keep

    The system is built around your records, with clear ownership and a handover path.

// how it goes

Three steps. No mystery.

  1. 01

    I watch the work

    We walk the current process and keep the parts your team already does well.

  2. 02

    I build in useful pieces

    You see working parts early, use them, and correct the fit before the whole system depends on them.

  3. 03

    I hand over the keys

    You get the code, data, access, and written handover terms — plus help teaching the team the new flow.

// proof, not promises

Here's what I built.

Custom Operations Platform·In production

DD CRM

A land-clearing company was running the whole business out of spreadsheets and their phone. I built them one platform from scratch — leads, quotes, job scheduling, crew dispatch, and invoicing — that replaced the duct-taped stack of apps. It runs their day, every day.

// no surprises

What this isn't.

  • Not a smaller, homemade rebuild of a giant enterprise platform.
  • I won't build what an off-the-shelf tool already does well. I'll tell you to buy it instead.

// straight answers

Questions owners ask.

Isn't custom software expensive?

It can be, which is why I first compare it with buying and connecting tools that already exist. Custom only makes sense when the fit is worth the build.

What if you get hit by a bus?

You own the code and the data. The handover includes access, setup notes, and the terms another capable builder would need to take over.

How long does it take?

That depends on the system, but I build in useful pieces instead of disappearing until one giant launch. We agree on the first working slice before work starts.
